In the little apartment they share, Jude(Eccleston) and his cousin Sue(Winslet)
finally complete their affair by committing their love physically. However, Sue is
admittedly a virgin, and extremely nervous, evidence from her own admission, and her
insistent rambling, but Jude calms her down. You must give ample credit to Kate
Winslet. She embodies all her roles and is one of the few actresses completely
comfortable with her appearance, naked or otherwise, fat or skinny. There is a
confidence about her that defines a character.
